Mixed Up Chameleon Still Going Strong!

Thanks Missy Gibbs! We love your board with the Chameleon projects- What a great idea to turn the story sequence wheel into flowers!

The First Week of School

The first few days of school are over and Holly and I tried out some of our projects. The Mixed Up Chameleon is our first story and the kids made a sequence wheel to retell the story. We have this week's projects hanging up and they are asking about them... "When are we going to make that????!!" HAving the project examples hanging really gets the kids motivated. Holly's class started with our Just Write project, "If I were Ruler of the World".  They really did a nice job for a first write. Gretchen's class made the All about Me project. They were very nice!

We have published our first volume of writing activities. These were some of our favorite projects this past year. We added the All About Me... We can't wait to use it the first week in August!

Two more stories have been added to TpT

We have been very busy! It's amazing the effort and time that goes into making each story. At least our lesson plans for reading and language are finished for the first month. Below is Henry and Mudge.
Frog and Toad will be alot of fun to do with the kids.
We are anxious to use the paper plate venn diagram over and over. Hopefully it will be easier than having the children draw them.

Our Second Post

The publishing of Get Up and Go went much faster now that our techy person has that all figured out.  Creating some of the material was challenging, but we are pleased with the results.

Our first post on Teacher Pay Teachers!

We finally did it! We have so many materials and we spend hours of time each week creating fun and unique activities for our second graders. We decided that we should complie all of this stuff! Look for us on TpT. Our first free activity is for The Mixed Up Chameleon. We plan to post units for each story of the Harcourt series first. Then we plan to move on to Science and Social Studies.
