Important Georgians
So next week we decided to continue our study of Georgia's history, including three important Georgians: Mary Musgrove, Tomochichi, and Jame Oglethorpe. The problem was there isn't anything cute out there! The texts from our series is dry and not that kid friendly. So we made these to help us teach the concept. We even wrote extended texts for our reading lessons. We will be using the texts with All about ... organizers. Then we are making the Who Am I? pockets. The arms came out a little wonky, but the kids always like an outline to follow. We thought it would be fun for the kids to write clues about the person and then use voice to share the clues. We went ahead and posted these activities on TPT... as we thought others may want something different to do.
